Rail Systems Senior Inspector

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Rail Systems Senior Inspector to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will play a critical role in overseeing the inspection of rail systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. You will lead a team of inspectors, conduct detailed inspections, and provide guidance on rail system issues. The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging assignments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and advance your career.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of rail systems, including tracks, signaling and related infrastructure, to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Lead a team of rail inspectors, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality inspections and accurate reporting.
Develop and implement inspection plans, schedules, and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of the inspection process.
Analyze inspection data, identify trends and potential issues, and recommend corrective actions or improvements.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address and resolve any rail system issues or deficiencies
Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation, and present findings to management and regulatory agencies as required.

Qualifications

Professional Engineer license required.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in track, catenary, or rail safety.
In-depth knowledge of rail system components, inspection techniques, and safety regulations.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior inspectors.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to prepare and present reports clearly and accurately.
Proficiency in relevant inspection tools and software
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
