Bright Stars Gymnastics Academy in NJ is seeking a passionate and experienced Gymnastics Team Coach to join our dedicated team. As a coach, you will play a crucial role in training and developing gymnasts of all skill levels, from level 2-10 competitive athletes. You will be responsible for planning and executing training sessions, choreographing routines, and preparing our athletes for competitions in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Training and Development:
Plan and lead structured training sessions tailored to the needs of individual gymnasts and the team as a whole.
Teach fundamental and advanced gymnastics skills across various disciplines, ensuring proper technique and safety.
Provide ongoing feedback and guidance to athletes to enhance their performance and skill development.
Competition Preparation:
Develop competition routines and strategies that showcase each athlete's strengths and abilities.
Attend and support athletes during competitions, offering encouragement and strategic advice.
Analyze competition performances to identify areas for improvement and adjust training plans accordingly.
Athlete Management:
Foster a positive and motivating environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
Communicate effectively with athletes and their families regarding training schedules, goals, and progress updates.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance evaluations, and competition results.
Administrative Duties:
Assist in organizing and coordinating team events and community outreach initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and gym policies during all training and competitive activities.
Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to uphold academy standards and promote a cohesive team culture.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a gymnastics coach, ideally with a focus on competitive gymnastics programs.
In-depth knowledge of gymnastics techniques, training methodologies, and competition regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes of all ages.
Certification from a recognized gymnastics coaching program (e.g., USA Gymnastics) preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field is advantageous.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
